Research centres

Collaboration in research centres is central to the success of research in the Department of Archaeology and History. They enable historians to increase the scale and scope of their research activity through collaboration, critical review, and scholarly dissemination. Each centre organises a research seminar/workshop series involving internal and external speakers and regular conferences.

"The Department of Archaeology and History is the hub of a thriving research culture in which collaboration, interdisciplinary working and community are central to our mission."
